powerwalker, that is exactly what I think... we have been already witnessed concerted short attack (on the grand scale) against AVXL using every possibility and 'tools' available to the attackers: hit articles, naked shorting, even SEC 'investigation' without publishing results (go figure), followed by a class action announced by multiple law firms...

When positive trial results are available, AVXL will become immune to those hostile actions, as well as to constant bashing by the numerous 'experts' on the board, IMO.
