due to the obsession over what some-without any evidence -presume to be too much salt in zn's well for either drinking or agriculture i note:

from the info below we can arrive at some logical conclusions:
chloride by itself in drinking water has no health based guidelines- salty water is easily detectable to taste though ppl can get accustomed to a certain amount of salt (before salt concentrations reach the danger level)
and thus water that bears no detectable taste of salt is assumed at a minimum to be safe to drink

No health-based guideline value is proposed for chloride in drinking-water!!!
any guidelines would have to tank into account the volume of water consumed plus how much salt was ingested via food-the body is partly salt and requires some salt

CONCLUSIONS
Chloride concentrations in excess of about 250 mg/litre can give rise to detectable taste in
water, but the threshold depends upon the associated cations. Consumers can, however,
become accustomed to concentrations in excess of 250 mg/litre. No health-based guideline
value is proposed for chloride in drinking-water.

Imo. Do your dd before investing. I'm not a financial adviser nor compensated for my posts. They don't believe what they say, so why should you?
