CBD is not classified as a drug or medicine now if it's in food or beverages fda can intervene but if it is sold as just cbd as a supplement or natural remedy FDA really has no authority. The companies do not even have to tell what is in their products the decision to use it or it being a product that is sold and purchased falls all on the consumers. Watch Adam ruins everything on suppelments if you don't have the patients or time to read and research it but that is why it is not classified as a drug otherwise it would be a long time before it got FDA approval the way it is classified now it does not need it just consumer approval
