That's interesting. Bear in mind that I've got corn and cotton fields across the street. lol

When we bought our place here four years ago, land ran $13,000 or so per acre. Now people are paying $40k for a half acre with primary road frontage. We're in a city of about 75,000 with every concieveable amenity yet it feels very rural. We have horses, donkeys, goats, dogs and ponies to price it!

Life here is wonderful! Five minutes from the Mexican border with Texas. I'm in Texas.
