Three years ago I took about $70,000 in NGL gains and bought five adjacent acres of prime residential land. My investment has more than doubled.

NGL gains made it possible.

Trading momentum boundaries we routinely encounter enables all sorts of potential gains and for this reason I maintain two portfolio qualifiers---core positions and then those that are trading shares/units. Thus I don't depend upon market swings bringing unit value lower---it ushers in waves of optimal accumulations. On the other hand, when NGL moves higher by a lot, I'll be poised to sell some units.

I find this works out especially nicely. However, I don't depend upon market gyrations other than for setting up opportunities for me to trade.
