VuBru, I guess where I was going with that is that this trial has PFS as primary endpoint and OS as secondary Endpoint. And Marnix is indicating that they are independently powered, making this sound as a positive thing. Some folks seem to believe that the OS data will not matter at all, because if the primary endpoint (PFS) fails, then /OS will not even be taken into consideration. Now that we are well beyond both endpoint thresholds being met & surpassed, one has to wonder if both endpoint failed and that NWBO is going for a long shot hope and prayer that the trial can be succesful based on OS36 etc. The issue is further convoluted due to it being unknown whether any Interim Analysis has taken place, and if any alpha was spent on such a preliminary look. I get the impression that Marnix is also indicating that the primary and secondary endpoints are no co-primary endpoints.
So could you provide more insight on the endpoints being independently powered and how this might affect the outcome of the trial?
