Yes, Malone said it. He also said that the experience he brings from capital markets gives him the understanding to grow the company and make it more profitable -- and providing value to stockholders.
In any other business with statements like that the CEO would call Human Resources and ask for a detailed check on this guys Resume. If unverified, give him 2 weeks to produce evidence or he's terminated.
But, he does have the most important credential of all, his father-in-law is the CEO.
