We have spent a lot of time to fully understand local concerns and issues about Pebble and
much, much more. One of the key reasons we have brought forward a smaller mine plan, with
a commitment to not use cyanide, is in direct response to these conversations. It is our hope
that as people learn more about our approach they will begin to see that we do not present a
threat to the fish and water resources of the area, and that permitting is an important place to
review this.
