They are still working on those pre orders. What will happen when the pre orders end? The production volume will go down big time IMO. Most people who wanted a Model 3 have already ordered. Not sure how you expect those numbers to grow or even remain constant after the preorders are finished. Not to mention that a lot of the latter in that list will want the short range battery, which might not YET be profitable.
