You could make a New Folder (anywhere...or create it in your documents folder for example)
Then copy and paste each individual song to that new folder...(it would require you to do that for each song in each/every My Music folder).

You would then have a folder containing just your songs. You could then right click that folder, select Send to and select Desktop (create shortcut)...Or copy it (or cut it) and paste it where-ever you want it, including an External Drive, a flash drive or a net worked location...
