You never know, unless you’re a cpa, maybe he’s going through several years of financials. Even for a small company it does take months especially if they don’t have an in house cpa, which most don’t and they usually hire a third party which has other clients. Not saying this will get go anywhere, but yes it can take months to go through the financials
