tnyellowtomcat - In my opinion (which doesn't amount to a hill of beans)

I believe that AAPL would like to have a cross license agreement with QCOM BUT AAPL does not have very much in the way of air interface patents (especially patents declared and recognized as being essential to the Standard Boards). I also believe that IDCC has such patents and MAY be willing to sell a patent portfolio to make such a cross license possible. JMHO
