My thought was if we get cleared for women who at CVS is going to stop a man from buying it? Seriously, what difference does it make? I get the sense from BIEL that this is just FDA BS and anything needs to be cleared. However, right now they can still move forward with the knee and heel device on the shelf at CVS like we have already seen. My question then becomes we know they need to wait for Big Pharma to help with money to get a proper launch off the ground. But who? and how? I think it's obvious they have a plan or else they would have tested the soft roll out. The whole FDA thing this week is a punch in the gut but the way I see it - I have 6 more months to not have to rush and keep buying shares in small chunks to get a nice average for the next hype session in early summer. I also share the same worry as you - what about some other dumb reason they throw at us like "you forgot on the spine and off the spine." If that happens again then either BIEL is completely clueless (unlikely) or the FDA really is intentionally holding it down and we need help from the innovation challenge which is hopefully a separate department of people.
