You are missing the point. Instead, if the price does not rise more to cause warrant exercise, then evergreen options won't be offered until BO price (assuming deal done), in which case no reason to exercise because no profit. Thus lack of price rise now means less dilution.

The company seems like a big wet blanket now to good news. It's counter-intuitive, but if the (Basin like) deal is done, a wet blanket seems responsible.
