Hello Macpudd, My wife was diagnosed with GBM4 May 2014. She went through the usual treatment as well, surgery radiation chemo etc. but also a clinical trial called DCva, or Dendritic Cell Vaccine. Within 2 years the tumor could not be found. Not sure where that trial is at currently but you might want to look into it. Her neuro oncologist was Dr John Trusheim here in Minneapolis MN

thank you for sharing that admirable story.
She had GBM from mid 2014 and unrelated liver and colon cancer end 2015.And now she is doing well!!!

My wife has a GBM from mid 2014 plus unrelated liver and colon cancer. She has been fighting it with everything she's got and succeeding so far. Also in a clinical trial immunotherapy. She always says, "Whatever you do don't give up". I know that's easier said...

My wife had the first treatment today and the procedure went well. Now we have to wait till March 4th to see how well it might be working. If it's working they will do the other half of her liver. The desease is wide spread so they couldn't do the entire liver at once. We'll keep fighting. Keep in touch. I'm really happy for you. Good job.

Maureen you are amazing!!! You're fighting two cancers simultaneously too. It sounds like they are unrelated to each other just like my wife Mary's brain tumor (GBM) and her liver. Yes the liver came from colon cancer. It might have spread to her spleen but not sure yet. It showed up there on CT but nothing on a PET scan.
