I have studied THE MOTLEY FOOL for quite some time. If you analyze their writers you will see that they all have some kind of agenda and most really know no more than you and I. Look at what field they work in which usually has absolutely nothing to do with the field of the stock they are reporting on. I have done very well on buying stocks they trash, all you have to do is know when they started trashing a stock and then wait to see if they have a following of little mice who get scared and run for the hills dragging the share price down as they sell. If I have said it once I have said it a million times, do your own research on a company and after doing so you decide to buy their stock. stay with them till they have reached the goal you have set as your out limit. Of course if something changed from what you researched on them then make YOUR OWN decision to pull out if YOU feel there is a need. Remember also if a broker calls you to buy a certain stock usually he or she is trying to do so to earn them a commission. I have studied for a series 7 license but never took the exam. I realized that I did not have it in me to cold call people or a client to try and take their money so that I could just get that commission ( notice I did not use the word EARNI hope this will help the untrained beginner in this area to keep some of his or her hard earned dollars.
