The trade war started decades ago. Trump is simply the first American President with the guts to address it and fight back. America has a $500 billion yearly deficit with its combined trading partners. Our industry and our ability to create jobs has always previously taken a back seat to the U.S. playing patsy. China is also stealing hundreds of billions of dollars worth of our intellectual property each year under their trading restrictions. You seem OK with all that although I doubt you even understand it.
