The diamond I bought was all that I could afford at the time. It was a 1/2 carat with in a Tiffany setting from a reputable jeweler that I knew personally.

No biggie but it means a lot to me. She keeps bugging me about wanting to get it reset. I said go buy another ring but that one is not getting reset.

The jeweler I do business with now just sent me an email for knockoff diamonds.

I think people who over spend on diamonds are just as nuts as people who over spend on weddings.
