I thought the logic was -

1) Some trusts exist that were created by WAMU.
2) These trusts customarily require the organizing party to be partially invested

Therefore: WAMU is partially invested in those trusts.



Furthermore, Kerry Killenger recently bragged about how well they protected WAMU. What else could he have been talking about other than safe harbor assets.
