Mr. Trump tweeted Monday, “Hopefully, Saudi Arabia and OPEC will not be cutting oil production. Oil prices should be much lower based on supply!”

The comments surprised many analysts who said they had suspected Mr. Trump’s push for lower oil prices would end after the midterm elections were over.

Seriously, I don’t think this is what’s moving the market.

“The efficient-market hypothesis may be
the foremost piece of B.S. ever promulgated
in any area of human knowledge!”
