There is this odd phenomenon in medicine where patients who don't "feel" anything from their treatments assume that the treatment isn't working and stop taking it. This is a particularly big problem with disease states that are silent until there's a big event like a stroke or heart attack.
Maybe Amarin should add a touch of niacin to the pills to give patients a little flushing so they feel like it's working
