Thanks to God for Vascepa. Five years ago I was diagnosed with plaque buildup via an unrelated CAT scan. In some key arteries, up to 70 percent blockage. That plus Type II diabetes. Cardiologist held off on intervening because I had recently started to change diet and lifestyle to deal with diabetes. I started eating a can of sardines everyday for lunch. My GP said he'd give me something to replace the smelly sardines, and he prescribed Vascepa. Five years of Vascepa later, at age 78, I have had no heart issues. No proof that it was the Vascepa, but in view of the Reduce IT results, I won't stop taking it now. I had also decided to invest a couple grand in AMRN a while back. What a surprise to see its value increase. But I'm more grateful that somehow I ended up taking a medication that may be keeping me out of the ER. (I wonder if my GP was secretly enrolling me in Reduce IT)
