that's why imo 400 reps can't get the job done

Remember that there are a number of bottlenecks involved in hiring reps. You can't just hire them and release them into the field. Extensive training is needed, and in order to do that you need an entire sales training staff and ecosystem. And that takes a long time to develop. Hundreds of new reps is probably straining Amarin's infrastructure to its limits as it is.

So I think this is just the initial bolus of reps and more will be hired on a somewhat more relaxed schedule.
