Yes, losing both Pete Sessions and Jeff Sessions can't hurt, 2 of the biggest blockades to legalization.

I would argue Pete Sessions was the bigger prize. Jeff was impotent vs MJ as the AG, best he could do was repeal Coal Memo, and the real world effect was basically null.

But Pete would blockade all legislation in Congress, where the laws are actually made. His replacement, Colin Allred is MJ friendly, + Democrats controlling house in general is going to help legalization...
