If you own MPXEF you will not get shares of MPX International, look at previous spin outs, you should get a cash equivalent but you must hold Canadian MPX shares to get MPXI. Do some research on Reddit and you will find this to be true.

I setup an account with IB for this very reason, I own MPX Canadian shares but live in the US.
