I don't think big pharma is in a hurry to partner with Anavex. It's still very early in the clinical trial process and nobody is going to pony up the big bucks without solid evidence of efficacy in larger, well designed, placebo-controlled trials. TGD has access to (dilutive) cash from Cantor and therefore is not feeling pressured to partner for a couple million bucks up front, milestones and single or low double-digit royalties, which is the best he could hope for at this stage.
