I sold SOXL with a 10% loss on 5OCT at 142.50.
I went to cash.
I should have bought SOXS that same day at 10.50.
I should have sold SOXS today at 12.5 for a 19% gain.
I bought SOXL today for 105.00

By going to cash on 5OCT with a 10% loss, I avoided a further 36% loss (142.50/105.0 = 36%). So that part of the plan worked well.

If instead of going to cash I had bought SOXS on 5OCT, I would be holding a 9% gain today, rather than a 10% loss.

The price of my lesson...

it would have offset my 10% loss and then someboheld
