Mikenac,

"I don't remember making the comment." Nonetheless, the comment reads not believing the price would reach $50 PPS "by" the Nov 12th data reveal. Talks of a BO before the 12th would be premature and moot as a driver of a $50 PPS. After the 12, if anything, I've argued here, that Vascepa was easily a triple-digit stock. See my response to Durk47 post: 151124. He thought Amarin would come to the table for a $35 buyout, where I replied, JT wouldn't get out of bed for that much, and that I saw the stock fetching triple digits. I just added 28,900k shares to my holdings at @19.70, @21.08, and @20.30, certainly not believing we weren't going to shatter $50.00.

Can you provide the link? I don't see believing two years to get to $50. I wouldn't have bought so much at this level if that's what I believed. Unless I miswrote want I meant.

Here's a data point: Pfizer bought Warner-Lambert primarily for Lipitor for $90 billion. At that time, Liptor was selling about $2 billion/year (if I recall correctly) and all of Warner-Lambert's other products combined sold less than Lipitor. Also note that the purchase was in 2000 and Lipitor's patent expiration was in 2011.

You can extrapolate from there how much Amarin is and will be worth. Let's say that half of Warner Lambert's value to Pfizer was in Lipitor. That's $45B right there.
