PR people are always in a rush. They scan your e-mail/questions fast and respond with a quick & dirty boilerplate answer. Mostly not helpfull at all.

Best strategy is to send them 1 short/to-the-point question at a time. Received a usefull response? Ask your follow-up question digging deeper in the matter untill you have the answers you are looking for.

The discribed scenario works only if the PR firm is dedicated: Anavex’s PR firm surely recieves 100+ questions per day about Anavex and it would surprise me if they didn’t serve more clients...

Getting attention and/or getting the right information from whatever source really is a big problem these days. Who still has time left at the end of the day? I certainly not: I always end up having the feeling I would have done at least twice as much. Although three times would suit me better :)
