Well, Canada selling out inventory so not doing too bad.

Many are willing to pay a little more and maybe put forth a little more effort to buy legal. Having the variety probably nice too. Others probably has a reliable black market source so going with what is comfortable.

Once things get steadier on the legal side, maybe getting ones cannabis will be as easy as grocery shopping. Then the black market will probably fade a bit. Sounds like a ton of hoops getting California going, so obviously black market still strong. Sounds like it may still be that way for awhile.
