Talking of buying up more prospects has the built-in assumption that Gulfslope will continue as a viable company. I would assume that a small company with a miniscule market valuation and a huge asset value would be plucked by one of the larger players almost immediately. John Seitz has undoubtedly anticipated this from the beginning, and has steadfastly maintained his controlling interest. The company will only be sold if he decides to let it go. I would guess if that happens he might take the buyout money and go right out and do it again. The difference being that the second time around he would have plenty of funding to do things right without stressing out or having to find a well-heeled partner. Will be interesting to watch what happens. Tau being a significant discovery will be all kinds of fun, even if you’re just a spectator.
