I wonder if Mr. Chanos knows that English is the language of business in China.
English is taught there from first grade. A Mr. Russell Leu, who is an American attorney who has lived in China over 15 years, told me there a thousands of Chinese nationals that speak better English than him, without accent.

He says America has a wrong perception of China.
