It is true that he changed his compensation scheme (which I doubt the legality in, but that's a different matter). However, I'm not aware that he has gotten any of those shares yet. If he wants a bigger portion of the TRW-distribution, then he needs to get those shares now. If he waits till after the distribution, AND after the PPS has stabilized at a higher level, then we'll have to give him SOME credit (if that is, only time will show)
