Did you read the RegSho I keep posting. It says MMs can short stocks, any stocks, as long as they follow the rules. Long ago, I said they could and you said I was wrong. I’ve provided over and over proof that I’m right, quoting SEC RegSho.

You say I’m wrong, but provide no proof, just some articles on Finra’s enforcement of the rules against brokers, nothing of which shows how RegSho is wrong.

I will continue to say that a MMs short stocks every day. They also cover everyday. It’s how makers are made. Liquidity is necessary for a smooth market.
