The signing ceremony
Gold'n Grow targets include vegetables, fruit and nut trees, citrus and avocados, cotton, alfalfa for dairy cows, silage corn for dairy cows, wine and table grapes, potatoes, field beans and peas, cereal grains, turf, home lawns and gardens, ornamentals, and golf course tees, greens, and fairways.
The Central Valley is the state’s agriculture hub, producing over 360 products. California is the sole producer of more than 13 fruits, vegetables and nuts including walnuts, olives, clingstone peaches and sweet rice. California is also the nation’s largest dairy producer with over 1/5th of the Nation’s dairy. Years of man-made drought have increased food prices around the Nation.
I've watched several videos of the President at work. When work is to be done he is impressive.
cabinet meeting
The first video is twenty minutes while this one is fifty. Both were worth my time. With the exception of Agriculture who was spending (wasting mine and the cabinets time stroking the President, or trying to anyway.) Small Business Administration seemed to do a bit of that herself. The others were direct and down to business.
I was most impressed when the President instructed them to reduce expenditure by 5% across the board by the next meeting. He referenced the penny plan which has been bruited about for decades. He said let's not do a penny let's make it a nickel and see if we can do the same or better for the one after that.
