Are you going to the shareholder meeting ?

I haven't made up my mind if I want to spend the day listening to the same rhetoric again ..... or if there will be genuine real conversation about what is to take place near term.

Given the history, I expect the same rhetoric and a whole lotta backslapping on the accomplishments of the year with little in the way of meat and potatoes surrounding licensing and commercial launch of KALGAE. As is the case nearly 100% of the time ..... when Dahl speaks .... stock falls. It happened last year after the shareholder meeting however about a week of so later, the stock roughly doubled in price and although a bit of a seesaw, the past year the stock overall has been in an uptrend as evidenced by the 1 year chart in the Ibox above.

Here is a 5 year chart with the MA envelope that better portrays the uptrend of the past year.

The last 2 Novembers were pretty good in terms of price gains and one could argue technical indications support a move northward here given the volume to the downside of late has been trailing off quite a bit. So not a ton of selling happening but no one really stepping up to buy.

That all said, Dahl's shareholder address each year usually provides a fair number of tidbits of what's to come .... never specifics on "when". Shareholders are usually just left with waiting. But things eventually happen. Unfortunately that strategy doesn't play well for a public company. So I don't think much is missed if not going. The real value in going is meeting other shareholders and visually sizing up mgmt's body language when you get them 1 on 1. That's probably the most valuable.

Anyway .... leaning towards not going unless I hear from a few other shareholders I've kept contact with over the years are interested. Then I might reconsider.
