KyOil. Got thinking about the Jurassic. When they drilled through it they didn’t say anything about experiencing any free flowing hydrocarbons. But if the pressure above the main Jurassic region was higher (they experienced high pressure just after they got through the capstone, just above or the upper region of the Jurassic) and that part of the well was not cased yet, it would seem to me they would need to have higher density mud to control the pressure up high than what would be needed for the main Jurassic region. In which case any free flowing hydrocarbons that might have been there could not enter the well. So perhaps the oil is there, just not evident when they were drilling. Thoughts?
