That depends; if they try it to support the PPS then they might end up doing the opposite.

However, if they wait till after the first cash dividend is paid, then the situation might be different. Not that it necessarily helps the PPS (although you never know considering how illiquid this stock is), but it would be nice to reverse some of the destruction they have done this year.
