Hey flyer....and those who responded to his post...

I've had difficulty over the years accepting the 77% positive efficacy, 23% no effect results, as evidenced by actual trial data submitted to the FDA....and now the 85% pos efficacy, 15% no effect in your post.

I recall vividly the first time I used the device I got from a college buddy on a badly sprained ankle. No on/off switch, had to insert or pull out a little plastic tab to turn it on and off. He warned me I would feel zero sensation, no side-effects and leave it on 24/7 for a week or two. Pain was reduced within 5 hours or so, massive edema was gone in 12 and the healing was amazing to me and my Doc, who was initially sure I had a fracture, until he saw the x-ray. It's true; a bad sprain can be worse than a fracture, but thanks to ActiPatch, I didn't use the crutches he gave me after 24 hours, walked gingerly, but vastly improved!

Ir just seems unlikely, given that ActiPatch is an electronic device transmitting SWT at 1,000 pulses/second, that 85% experience a positive effect and 15% don't. It just makes no sense! Did the 15% not leave it on for a day or more? Was the device defective?

Compare ActiPatch to electricity from an outlet for a second. Is there anyone who is not affected by an electrical shock? Some get knocked on their butts, some jump, some get a small burn, some, like me feel a pronounced bump, maybe jump a little, laugh at my stupidity and carry on fixing the outlet or wiring, whatever. Foolishly, I repair or replace outlets without turning off breakers, with dry hands, rubber soled shoes and care. Been doing it for decades.

I can also understanding deep pain or painful areas below heavy layers of tissue, as in cases of obesity, but I have tested ActiPatch on the hands of numerous people with arthritis....very little muscle, tissue or fat and proven efficacy in 100% of cases. Several people I've recommended the device to have got back to me, saying, "It doesn't work".....only to learn they put it on for half an hour...... One clown even offered that Tylenol works in 20 minutes, ActiPatch should too....

So, bottom line, I don't understand how the electrical device can reduce pain on one hand and not another....there must be a plausible, scientific reason. It's electricity triggering cellular responses in live bodies. The only serious variables I can think of are pain tolerance and thresholds of pain response, which would not appear to change with the application of ActiPatch.

ActiPatch...imminent Tsunami soon...just not FDA fully cleared yet
