Its only Day #2 of Legalization and there is A LOT of infrastructure and supply channel work to be done in order for all the people who want Cannabis to actually be able to purchase some.

I witnessed the same scenario when Cannabis went legal in Colorado. I was in Colorado on Day #1 of Legalization and there were lines around the block and people were paying a premium for bud.

However, 4 years later, the supply/demand in Colorado has evened out. When you walk into a dispensary in Colorado now, there is a steady flow of customers coming in/out but there are no longer lines down the block (this is to expected).

Stopping into a Colorado Dispensary to pick-up Cannabis is a lot like stopping at a Convenience Store to pick-up a 12 pack of beer. There are no lines at the Convenience Store for beer - yet they still sell a lot of beer anyway.

Cannabis Prices in Colorado have stabilized, but Cannabis is still not inexpensive. $9-12/gram is the going rate for Top Shelf Cannabis in Denver and in the Mountains. It might be a bit less from local growers in small towns - but you are paying for convenience in the City.

Canada will follow in a similar pattern to Colorado. Canada will have "Cannabis Tours" just like Colorado does and they will have their share of "Cannabis Tourism". '

Lets keep in mind that Canada is the first domino to fall in the fight to get Cannabis Legal around the world. But Canada is a G7 Country so it is a Big Domino. They will have well funded "Cannabis Lobbies" that will eventually influence other foreign governments to legalize.

Its just Day #1...but I can see where this is all headed 5-10 years from now.
