Like I have said before on this board Cole....

What exactly is the protocol for doing business with 'Oil rich Billionaire Russian Oligarchs?

You are implying rich-self made Billionaire types work in the same way, as say a large multi-national corporate does when conducting an 'RFP' tender with other 'multi-nationals'

There is only so much DD you can do and it is 'client' specific. When you are trying to break into new markets as GTEM were in Russia, you will come across all types. And if you are dealing with 'wealthy individuals' the overriding thing that ultimately counts is TRUST!!

Say for instance you met Ramon Abramovich in a swanky hotel. You know he is filthy rich, he likes your idea, but 3 weeks later the yacht blows an engine and he changes his mind. What you gonna do? Pursue him for 3 years for damages and pay the laywers 3mil in fees!! Get Real

IMO you have a really blinkered view of the business world. It's not all deal signing in the Mahogony Boardroom at the downtown corporate HQ!!

We already know now that Globetel had a contract drawn up - they didn't default..Internafta defaulted on the promise. SIMPLE!
