I can't believe a BP would be stupid enough to try and low ball acquiring such a powerful drug with indications seemingly that span the spectrum from IBD to dermatology to antibacterial and more to follow. They make a fortune by just being square with IPIX, not having to pay excessively nor should they be trying to pay niggardly.

Even if they paid an extra couple of hundred of million dollars, in the long run that will be chump change to what Brilacidin should bring in. They may be playing hardball on the royalties but still the same point, why chance losing the entire platform?

With a bit of time to play now, maybe Leo is taking a harder stand. Too many variables for anyone to know for sure what is going on.

All I can think is that I would hate to be the BP official that possibly let get away a drug that has the potential to be another Humira type winner.

We know our investment is safe w/ latest financing, all we are doing now is raising or lowering the degree of profit we stockholders make off this investment. Nerve wracking to say the least.
