TREP LITIGATION REVIEW

This is a brief overview of the pending lawsuit of TREP v. IRS.

The IRS has alleged that TREP owes some payroll taxes to the IRS from the year 2011-2013. Instead of adhering to the demand made by the IRS. TREP actually filed a lawsuit against the IRS!

TREP brilliantly exercised their right under the Freedom of Information Act. Two things here: one, most companies would be scared to go against the IRS and second, most companies would not have the bankroll to go up against them.

TREP essentially exercised their right and wanted the IRS to produce all the documents to TREP that involved TREP and all their entities. TREP has over 20 entities/alter egos! This is huge! This is the type of information you can find reading through court documents.

TREP and their entities had over 141,000 pages that mentioned their names. TREP’s Motion for Summary Judgment was granted and denied in part. It is my understanding that the IRS still has to produce certain documents to TREP, so TREP can identify which one of their entities owes some payroll taxes.

I wanted to create this summary because over the past week, numerous people have been privately messaged about this lawsuit in order to be shaken out and sell their shares. People use common sense and your judgement. If a person does not like a stock, they would simply move on. However, obviously you can read between the lines and understand what is going on here.

TREP has a substantial amount of entities and is barking back at the IRS! They have the bankroll to do it and the future looks very bright for this company.

I am vested in this company and will continue to hold for a minimum of 366 days.
