I’ll join in the fun of parsing words here. Smith surmised, he didn’t assert. He also stated, “...the dramatic event...could come...I am not around.” To surmise is to suppose something is true without evidence. While he botched the “unblinded” word as has already been discussed, he may have been more careful with the word “surmise”. I’m biased though. I learned about NWBO from him way back when. Nevertheless, I’ve enjoyed the discussions once again around SOS’s recent post. Thanks to all who contribute here. It was this board that convinced me to sell IMUC before its pps crashed and go all in with NWBO. For the sake of the patients, all the best.
