I'm not sure why you say there was a "paint" at the end of the day. To me, that indicates a single transaction to make it appear to be a red or green day with a small share count. Instead, there looks to be like a lot of buying in the last half hour of the day that drove the stock price back up. That's always a nice thing late on a Friday.
