the logic and math here is still off.

The 2017 10 K was due when? Feb of 2018. What month it is now? Oct of 2018. How much time has passed since it was due? 8 months.

How late is it?

8 months.

8 months late is not good, no need to exaggerate the delinquency to make it sound worse than it is.
