Never, Never Buy a call...you have to pay money to by that call...one would only buy calls is if you absolutely knew some inside information.. you would only have 1 chance in three to be successful in that trade... Better yet, with all those shares you would have over 700 contracts to SELL calls, and make premium money...you would make more money selling calls, and perhaps lose money on buying them...The CBOE (chigago Board options trading) is not in the business of paying off bets on calls buy people who buy them...their traders will work the settling strike price down to maximum pain, so that they pay the least money on those options...go to google, and get a primer on options trading...
