FWIW: Brokers know that the SEC Admin Law Judges (A.L.J.) will revoke UOIP's stock registrations. As such Brokers and their Risk Management policies also know that shares bought or sold from other Brokers would be impossible to settle if UOIP's registration was revoked before the delivery/settlement of trades has occurred.

Consequently, many Brokers decline opening positions (buy orders) that could end up being unsettled trades. They cannot decline sell orders but they can absolutely decline buy orders or not fill buy orders if the shares are from a different Broker.

However, Brokers are more willing to allow buy or sell orders within their own Brokerage because the trades can be settled immediately.
