I have a question of these 'performing Trusts', Is it a common business practice for Common Stock to be backed by a 'performing Trust'?
I might be very wrong but, I always thought Common Stock usually had a VERY SMALL Par Value, and the vast majority of its Share Price was totally tied to how much the 'Market valued it'.

If Common Stock was backed by a Trust, wouldn't it trade at a certain value?

Am I looking at this wrong?
