barge, are not LaGrande and TPM technology two different animals?

LaGrande sounds like it is about securing the host computer's OS while the TPM provides a "vault" apart from the host computer's domain. So LaGrande aspires to secure the host's OS from viruses/worms while the TPM platform enables Trusted Computing, essentially a PKI process.
